The IELTS Teaching course is designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills to teach IELTS preparation language courses around the world. Sea English Academy conducts a two day course to train and equip teachers to teach IELTS preparation courses.  The course is fully accredited and is one module of the Diploma of TESOL (30777QLD) course offered by Sea English Academy.  

This is a great opportunity for professional development for English teachers. Graduates will be given a Statement of Attainment for the Module DTE50105 'Develop Effective Teaching Strategies for Advanced Students for IELTS Preparation'. 

The next two day course will be held in Sydney on Monday 20 & Tuesday 21 February 2012.

The cost of the course is $400. 

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a test of English language proficiency. It is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council and IDP Education Australia.  Candidates may choose either the Academic Module for entrance into university or higher education, or the General Training Module for non-academic training, work experience or migration.

IELTS is accepted by Australian, British, Canadian, Irish, New Zealand and South African academic institutions, by an increasing number of academic institutions in the USA, and an increasing number of professional organisations. It is also a requirement for migration to Australia and Canada.

The IELTS Teaching course is designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills to teach IELTS preparation language courses around the world. 

The course will include topics such as: an introduction to IELTS, IELTS testing systems, classroom strategies, planning and conducting IELTS preparation language classes, teaching activities, and much more.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be issued with a Statement of Course Completion and a Statement of Attainment for one module of the Diploma of TESOL.
