Teach N Tour Thailand - Sea English Academy |
TEACH N TOUR is a dynamic teacher trainer experience with world class training in an exciting destination. Participants will complete a Certificate IV in TESOL qualification with a teaching practicum placement overseas. This is a complete package tour which includes an accredited training, international airfares, accommodation, activities and much more. Destinations include places such as Thailand, Jordan, India and China. Applicants must be over 18 years and places are strictly limited.

This is a complete package tour which includes an accredited training, international airfares, accommodation, activities and much more. Destinations include places such as Thailand, Jordan, India and China. Applicants must be over 18 years and places are strictly limited.
Accredited TESOL course
The TESOL course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to teach English to speakers of other languages around the world. Small class sizes, qualified teachers and a communicative style of teaching strategies and activities ensure maximum communication skills. The course includes 220 notional hours, which includes lectures, assignment preparation and realistic on-the-job practicum teaching and observation. The delivery mode for the course is divided into Phase 1 (Lectures) and Phase 2 (Practicum).
Phase 1 (Week One & 2) Certificate IV in TESOL Course and Practicum Preparation
The first phase of the course will be held in Australia and will be held from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday each week. Students will be required to use approximately 2 hours each day for study and assignment preparation.
The course consists of the following topics:
The History of English, Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Assessment, Lesson Planning, Teaching the 4 Macro Skills, Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, Teaching Grammar, Classroom Management, Teaching Vocabulary, Syllabus Design, Teaching Pronunciation, Cross Cultural Communication Needs Analysis, Program Design, and much more.
Phase 2 (Week 3 & 4) – International Teaching Experience
Once the lectures phase has been successfully completed, you will then embark on your international teaching experience. At your destination, you will then complete the practicum teaching component of the course in which you will teach non-English speaking students in a real-life teaching environment.
Tour Activities
‘Teach N Tour’ includes a range of tour activities. ‘Teach N Tour – Destination Thailand’ will include an Elephant ride in the Thai-Burma border, a boat trip across the Mekong river to Laos, a Thai cooking class, a tour of the Night Markets, visit to the Hill Tribes region, an introduction and tour of the local university, networking and meeting other teachers already working in Thailand.
Optional Activities
The ‘Teach N Tour’ includes a range of optional activities suitable for every age and interest. These may include participating in a humanitarian project such as delivering food and educational resources to remote mountain villages or visiting an orphanage. You may like to attend a local religious service or cultural festival. Spend a day at an elephant hospital or an adventure activity such as white water rafting, trekking, or jungle safari.
Accommodation
Your accommodation is arranged and provided as part of the international phase of the ‘Teach N Tour’. You will met at the airport and taken directly to your accommodation. Accommodation will be arranged from a selection of quality accommodation in clean, safe and secure facilities. Accommodation is centrally located close to local cafes and restaurants, shops and the teaching practicum.
Meals
The international phase of the ‘Teach N Tour’ includes breakfast and lunch everyday. Dinner will be at your own expense and will allow you to enjoy the vibrant night life and explore the vast variety of food at your leisure.
Graduation
At the end of the ‘Teach N Tour’ and upon successful completion of the course, students will demonstrate all units of competency of the Certificate IV in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and will be issued with a Certificate of Qualification by Sea English Academy International. A gala graduation dinner will be held on location in Thailand before the journey home.

‘Teach N Tour’ programs are provided in partnership with Uplift Tours and Travel. Claire and her team at Uplift Tours and Travel provide service that is second to none and will care specifically for all your travel needs. This includes international airfares, overseas airport transfers, touring, accommodation, and visas.
