The study tour is designed to meet the specific interests of each students as well as practice in reading and writing business correspondence, and to communicate orally with telephone skills, presentations, networking and business meetings.  The focus is to build the student's business vocabulary as well as improving their research skills. 

The program allows students to meet with business people, providing a point of contact for business people and entrepreneurs, to build valuable friendships and share business skills and knowledge.  A key component of the course is interaction with the local business community, with excursions and field trips to companies across a wide range of services.  Guest speakers from the Chicago business community will present the class with inspirational insight into their own business success.
