Sea English Academy International provides English language courses for students of all levels of ability, with a focus on teaching the communicative skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening. The Certificate I English Communication Skills course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to be able to communicate with confidence. 

Units include Classroom Strategies, Communication Skills, Interaction Skills, Speaking Skills, Reading Skills, Writing Skills and Listening Skills.  Topics will cover a wide range including food, money, travel, weather, family, language functions, current events, and much more.

On the first day at school, new students are given a detailed placement test. The placement test includes an interview and a written test on reading, grammar and writing skills. Students are then placed into different class levels according to the result of their placement test.   

Students are assessed by their teachers on a daily basis on how well they are doing in class. Students are also tested every 6 weeks with a speaking interview and written test.  Assessment is based on participation in classroom activities, observation, oral presentations and written assignments.

You can choose to study either full time or part time.The full time study program will be held from 9.00am to 3.00pm (Monday to Friday). The part time study program will be held from 9.00am to 12.30pm (Monday to Friday).   

Students can commence any course on each Monday.  There are no minimum or maximum lengths of enrolment. 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will demonstrate all units of competency of the Course in English Communication Skills and will be issued with a Certificate of Qualification by Sea English Academy International.
